Subject: ComputesNotesURL Preference not working
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Composite Applications
Technical Area: Functionality
Platform: Windows XP client
Release: 8.0.1
Reproducible: Always

I attempted to use the ComputedNotesURL preference that was suppose to be implemented in 8.0.1, but it did not work. I placed a profile form in the Composite Application with a single field called 'DBURL'. On my component that I wanted to dynamically reference, I removed the com.ibm.note.NotesURL preference and entered the preference com.ibm.note.ComputedNotesURL with the formula @GetProfileField("Profile"; "DBURL"). The value of DBURL in the profile document was 'Notes://LSTAPPS/85256ED000490FD5/All\By Application Name?OpenView&HideNavigator'. I even set the com.ibm.note.ProcessOnlyOnUpdate preferece to false. Yet all that is displayed once I save the page and launch the composite application is a blank page. Was this feature not implemented or am I doing something wrong?
